went back to the shop tonight... got one on (ish??? kinda wiggles around more than i like, but it wont pull off)
then i got tired of spending hours upon hours bent over the fender like a prom queen, so i moved to the trunk.... like a dead hooker.
anyways. .. .. here are a few pics.
(not my car, but same heater core, same clips, same hoses... why did this dude's work? wtf....)
before the heater hoses go on.... (my clips wont even go that far onto the core, i tried with a BFH and it just broke...)

i know, hard to see, but you get the idea.
1996 hoses, 1996 core (new), brand new clips.
have old core, the ends match up.
had other clips (off 2004 cobra) and they matched up.
1996 service manual:
shows hose clamps.
2004 service manual:
"apply lubricant, or fresh water, place clips in hose, push."
this is litterally about the only thing keeping my car off the dyno... some minor interior wiring, battery box in trunk, heater core hoses, add coolant... .... ..
good design ford, you guys rock my socks.
anyways, ill get a few pics tomorrow of my problems, not this white car that actually functioned properly.
