need opinions on winter project

just wanted to see what you think would be the better winter project for my 94 gt. first off my car is basically stock other than some suspension stuff such as springs, cc plates, upper and lower control arms, 355 gears, and other lil things like a pair of 275 dr's, ram HD clutch, tri ax, msd coil, cai, FRPP 9mm wires, long tubes, no cats, and 40s to dumps.

first option is the H2E turbo i have laying around my shop. some pro's to this is i can build my hot and cold tubes for next to nothing and the turbo was free.
some cons is i would have to buy a fuel pump, injectors, meter, tune, bov, and waste gate.

other option is a 351w i have here also. pros to this is even more power when i put the turbo on and less chances of spliting the block.
cons would have to buy pistons (forged), some good heads, oil pan, mach. work, cam, and tune.

what do yall think would be a better winter mod?

351! go big or go home. Do it right the first time and you won't have to do it right again. Build the motor this winter, drive it for the summer, then turbo it next winter and not have to start over completely from scratch!

When you go for the 351w swap your gonna need the pump injectors, meter, and tune anyway, why not just start collecting and do it all at once since it sounds like your gonna end up doing both eventually, less of a headache doin it once, and your gonna have to buy and install the parts at one point in time or another, might as well do it once. Besides your turbo plumbing might change when swapping in the 351

im liking this idea.... i wont have enough extra cash to do both this winter but next summer will be nice with a lil extra power with the 351 and H/C/I. also lets me feel better about the 150 shot ive been beating this 302 with all summer. guess its time to get to the track and finish this thing off. gonna take this block to Proline next week so it can be ready by winter. thanks for the input guys.

went that route on my old coupe. really interested in these turbos now.

take up more real estate, more radiant heat, need a intercooler, typically have to cut the car to make them fit. the cheap kits are "cheap", either chinese made turbos or ones from brazil. i have yet to see one of these bs turbo kit cars run a real number and stay together

the s-trim that was on my car back in 1999ish that has well over 100,000 miles on it is still cranking away on the car i sold it to. pushed my stock bottom end 302 to 126mph more then once and the motor had 150,000 miles on it.

hell look at oulaw 10.5 cars with blowers vs turbos. there are single blower cars running as fast and faster then the tt motors that have more cubic inch. vortech has a 123mm blower which is small compared to the competition that pushed a boat 60s impala to 202 mph on a soft pass with a belt. use a crank drive or add another on a crank drive and watch out.

but thats my worthless .02 :)

no japanese or brazil stuff here when i do mine.. just a hugh Cummins turbo and all the tubing will be built by me at my exhaust shop.
