New Car

So I decided to buy a new DD.

My Mustang will now be a Weekend Warrior/ Track Car and now I want something to just get good gas mileage.

Im just looking for suggestions on what you guys think.

Just some info, It needs to be new, Im not Spending probably more than 20K on it, And it has to be gas efficient.

So far Im kinda liking the new 2010 Mazda 3 with the 2.5 or the Ford Focus 4door SES. Both in Black.

Why not get a cheaper daily driver? Why spend 20k on a new car? That's just me. lol

Can't see why ANY situation would call for a BRAND NEW car... why would you wanna take a financial hit like that? There are PLENTY of VERY reliable 2-3 year old cars, that can save you a GOOD clip of money man, just my $.02

But if you really feel you need to, check out the new Focus'. They are pretty nice, gotten to drive my Staff Sgt.'s a few times, and if I had to get another DD, it would be a new(er) Focus.

gti, mazda speed 3, mini cooper, scion tC... Those are what come to mind for new cars under 20k...

Man i cannot stand the front end on the new Mazdas, what were they thinking with that huge smiley face mouth style grill. New Focus coming out is pretty damn slick, as is the Fiesta. Maybe price out a 4 cyl manual Fusion, they might be over 20k though but everyone loves those cars.

i admit the mazda 3 is nice, but its damn ugly, id get a used 3 before id get a new one, if i were u id just wait for the 2011 focus to come out, it will be 100 times better than the focus now

Buy a smart car and with the rest of the cash put on a mustang body kit. You'll have a mustang with the best MPG ever. In all seriousness the Mazda is pretty damn ugly. I'd probably look into a mini

Test Drove a SE Focus and a Grand Touring Mazda 3.

Both were very nice.

Still up in the air tho. I found that Best Buy has a Ford Accommodation so I save a lot of money. That might be a deciding factor on which I go with.
