New Car

Well I did it I went and sold the v6 for 2x what I paid. That same day I went and bought a clean 96 gt. 118k on the clock.

The car needed a tensioner, and a belt. It drives really nice. The only thing That bothers me is a ticking noise I hear on the passenger side. It only ticks when its warmed up and under load. I'm Thinking either injectors or tiny exhaust leak. You disengage the transmission and it disappears. The six had a similar yet worse off sort of problem. This video doesn't show it being under load though. No codes, Idles smoother than the six.

It was owned by a pregnant lady. She hardly had driven it and was keeping it in her garage.

I have a aluminum crossover on the car but I dont believe it to be PI.

The header to h pipe has a gasket on the passenger side only. It could very well be where the sound is coming from.

You can only here it inside. It does not reflect on a wall or anything. 99% sure its that flange everyone's talking about. I'll try and get audio soon.

I had the AODE in my 95. The 4r70w feels like it has stiffer shifts, it was also paired with the 5.0 in explorers I believe.

id run fuel system cleaner through it and check for the exhaust leaks... you can hear it pretty well from the ground if you leave your car running and put your face on the floor. lol.

I already ran fuel cleaner through it. Made a difference right away. The things that it really needs are ball joints and new front brakes/rotors. the front right one is warped, slowing down from 50mph or higher is pretty interesting lol.
