Alright, I finally got some money to replace my clutch. The car has 138k miles and I'm pretty sure it has the stock clutch. Its still has the stock quadrant and clutch cable. My TOB has been squeeking for a couple of months now and I've been babying it. The rear main seal is also leaking. I am pretty much replacing all the components in the clutch/shifter. Here is the list I have compiled; the asterisk denotes parts I have:
* FRPP TOB
* FRPP pilot bearing
* Ford rear main seal
FRPP King Cobra Clutch set ($295 w/free shipping at Atomic Performance!)
FRPP 50 oz. Iron Flywheel
* Fiore quadrant and firewall adjuster
* LDC freeplay correction kit
Also, I want to replace the clutch cable. I want to use OEM Ford but those are hard to find online. I did find an FRPP cable but its listed for 96-98 (PN M-7553-E302). Will this work on my '95? If not is there any aftermarket cables that you guys recommend? I've had a BBK once. It seemed alright but I have heard bad things about aftermarket cables (breaking, stretching, etc). I want to do this right the first time so I'm not taking any chances on poor quality parts... What do you guys think?
