Hi all this is just an update on what I’ve found out on the logs.
First I will start with the O2 readings, on the stock tune at WOT they peg out at .946V, on diablosport 87 tune they peg out at .926v and on there 91/93 tune they peg out at .890V.
Now for the ignition timing, first of all I have not done many part throttle pulls BUT I can tell you that the 91/93 diablosport tune pulls better than there 87 and their 87 tune is better than the staticky tune.
Now for the WOT timing, for this is will split the rpm range into to sections, 2k to 4K rpm and 4K to 6k rpm.
2-4K rpm range
The diablosport 87 Pump gas tune has around 1.5 to 1.75 degrees more advanced than stock, the premium 91/93 tune has between 2 to 2.5 degrees more advanced than stock.
now for the 4-6k range
MY stock timing is at 22.25 @ 6000rpm.
87 tune is at 24.5 @ 6000rpm.
91/93 tune is at 26.75 @ 6000rpm.
now the last part, cruising timing.
Stock is around 40-42 BTDC
86 tune 42-44 BTDC
91/93 44-46 BTDC
also I had a go at adding even more timing at the 4-6k rpm range but no matter how much more I had the max I can get it is 27 BTDC. So what is holding the timing back and stopping it advance any more?
Is it that the cars computer just can’t advance and more than 27 BTDC?
Anyway just thought I would shear this finding with you lot
