I have a speedcal but I have always had problems with shift points after the install of the gears, but this is designed by Ford which obviously they their computer system the best. Im going to try it because I have nothing to lose.

I purchased it today and when it comes in I will do a write up and compare the capabilities between the SpeedCal and The Ford SpeedCal

there is no way a 4 wire box can go into the computer and change the shifting schedules on and automatic that are set in the scalars and functions of the computer , you need to get a tuning kit (Sniper Commando , or SCT pro racer) to do that to reflash the computer , might fix your speedo , but I would say your shift points are going to be off afterwards , speedo gear would have been alot cheaper

Well I have tried speedo gears, Speed Cal and custom tune and nothing has fixed everything 100%. So I figure what the hell, cant hurt anymore than now. IF all else fails then yes I think I am going to look into Pro Racer Package.

I hope this isn't the case, but Ford oftentimes just slap's their name on whoever else's product.

Hell Dallas Mustang doesn't even make the speedcal, they buy it from someone else.

Have you thought about the Baumannator TCS?

Hmm, seems pretty pricey. I just live with mine being off, its not that big of a deal. The thing is, is that i bought my car with the gears in it, and i have no idea of knowing when it was installed, and what the actual mileage is.
