Hey all. Got into the mustang game back in 07 but got out of it for a while 2 years ago when my procharged 97 cobra started smoking out the bypass and getting massive blow-by. Tore it down and turned out #7 and #8 pistons were cracked on the ringland. Getting really close to installing the new longblock, all forged, ARP, etc, with ported heads. Going in through the bottom with the k-member out so doing some research on the process etc.

Can't wait to get my baby back!

Manley h-beam rods, arp rod bolts, arp main studs, manley flat top pistons, "mild" porting on the heads (b/c I didn't have cash for big cams and all the springs etc.), 5 angle valve job, heads were CC'ed after porting and compression is back at 9.85:1 like factory ironically, deleted IMRC's, stock intake, C head valve covers and COP conversion. All I can think of at the moment..

I've been running a D1sc Procharger with their 3 core sheetmetal intercooler 3.5 inlet/outlet, seeing about 10psi on the gauge.. That was during major compression loss though. Pulley is a 3.8" so we'll see what the airflow does with the new porting, compression, etc. lots of variables changing. Fuel system is about maxed out at this point with 42lb/hr injectors, stock lines and rails, and a 255liter/hr pump so I'm not getting greedy, just wanna drive her again!!!!
