Hey guys i just wondering if anyone has replaced ignition or door locks on a 95 mustang produced after May 1, 1995.

Reason being, someone tried to break into my car and destroyed the lock and ignition. I was about to buy this set at 50resto when i noticed that its only good for 94-95 cars produced before May of 95.

So ya, just wondering if anyone knows why it wont fit my car (that was produced in June of 95) :BangHead: or what parts i need to use to replace all the locks.

Thanks,

Nick

My ignition was changed out. Yes I have two keys now, but I bought the car like it, and I didnt know any better at the time. You might want to call 5.0resto and ask them what they think.

You can take the lock cylinder to a locksmith and they can rekey it to match your doors so you don't have to use 2 separate keys. As for the door lock cylinders they are different. The post may 95 use a different plastic fastener to connect to the linkage inside the door. They are NOT the same. Make sure you get the correct one for your application.
