Idk about your state/insurance. but public insurance in my province voids your insurance if they know or find out you have cut or clamped springs.

looks great, i dont think a mach1 would last...
It wouldn't. I scrape frequently, espacially in/out of driveways and his sits lower than mine.
mine on my old car scraped all the time, but theyre durable. only once did it ever rip off, and that was because i went over an unmarked dip in the road at about 35mph, and completely bottomed out the car.

for how much they flex, and how small they are, the position they sit on the bumper doesnt give them much room to bend to break. if you use 1/4-20 hardware instead of the plastic "christmas tree" clips, it will stay on the bumper.

i dont think my car is quite that low, but i still go around speed bumps. more often than not, the pipe clamps on the exhaust hit things that sit high, like speed bumps, and man-hole covers on unfinished roads.

It looks sharp but I guess I'm gonna be the one that goes against the grain and say the front is too low and I think it would look better if it sat more level.

Hehe. I agree, but the rear should come down a tad with the shocks i'm hoping. If I remember correctly from my cobra, when I put the foxbody kyb's in the rear I think the piston shaft was shorter just like the fronts. Hopefully i'll get 1/4 to a 1/2 inch out of the Strange 10 ways. I need to get some pics on flat surfaces b/c I swear the car sits RIGHT! Thanks for all the comments everyone!

shocks and struts don't affect the height of the car.

LOL. You think you know everything, don't you? If I put SN95 specific struts back on the front of my car it would sit .75 to 1 inch higher. The shaft is shorter on the fox style struts/shocks therefore giving the SN95 dropped lower than 2 inches a better ride and handling characteristics. Don't tell me shocks and struts don't affect the ride height of a car unless you truly know what you're talking about. :violent5:
