Hello, I have a 1995 Mustang GT Convertible and I was thinking about getting the Ford performance G lowering springs for my car. Me being cheap, I was wondering if I could keep everything with my suspension stock besides the new springs obviously, and new spring isolators which I heard you need. Literally just get the springs and isolators and replace only that and leave the rest of the suspension alone and stock. Would that do any bad? Or would that be a-ok. Thanks

With the Ford springs you might be alright to do that. You may need some camber bolts to get it aligned right.

Just the camber bolts and no plates? The G springs lower the convertible 1.2 inches, just for reference.

Put Eibach lowering springs on my wife's GT ragtop. Camber bolts didn't do the job, had to get plates. I went direct to plates on my car when I installed the Vogtlands.

I did the full deal. New eibach sportlines, kyb gas adjust shocks and struts, new isolators, new balljoints, new mm caster camber plates, and new tires. Had tubular upper and lower control arms in rear from po. Handles like a dream. Id go full on or wait till you have all the parts at once. Alignments with lowered rides are more pricey. No point in doing more than one time. Unless something goes bad afterwards of course. Just my two cents man.
