Well I went to the track for the fist time with the new slicks on! Anyway I really need more seat time with them on! I could only cut 2.1 60's and well I was cutting 2.1s with my nittos lol

Anyway I ran the quickest I have ever run today!

first run:

R/T: .297
60': 2.153
330: 6.376
1/8: 9.883
MPH: 70.91
1000: 12.875
1/4 : 15.447
MPH : 87.94

video for first run

Second Run:
R/T: .061
60': 2.283
330: 6.559
1/8: 10.342
MPH: 67.06
1000: 13.488
1/4 : 16.062
MPH : 87.07

I missed third bad! it could have been around a 15.5 if i didnt! Its the worst I have ever mised!

Final Run:
R/T: .128
60': 2.133
330: 6.403
1/8: 9.929
MPH: 70.21
1000: 12.950
1/4 : 15.519
MPH : 88.41

On this run I dialed in at 15.41. The other guy dialed a 16.71 and he ran a 16.720. I dialed so low because I figured if I hooked i could cut a time like that or better. I did hook how ever, but I wasnt agressive enough on the tree with my RPMs shown by my 60's!

Anyway I had a good time!!

Not too bad pratice makes perfect.
14's are possible for sure at least you had a fun time though.
What was the weather like that day?
Was that a EVO you were racing?

yeah it was an evo!

My track altitute is 5800, 83 degrees, with 36 % humity, and 30.23 pressure. Corrected for sea level it would have been a 13.48 @ 99.14 mph according to Modular Depots corrector!

I don't know if that calculator is accurate. :dunno: 13.48 seems really quick since I thought you only had a couple bolt ons. Nice times though for being on top of the world altitude wise. O0

4.10s, PI intake, O/R H, Flows, UDP, CAI, Pro 5.0 shifter, Slicks and prostars and I am sure that I am missing a few things!

You REALLY need to drive that car somewhere and run it closer to sea level :hammer:

Good times, you'll improve a lot once you get used to how much more aggressive you can be off the line.

Your gears and Intake are what is making your car fast right now since judging by your 60 foot times. If that corrected time is right, those are really impressive numbers. O0

agreed, I feel I could pull a 13.9 at sealevel though. Not to brag, but I think I can drive decently, although could improve! And on Weds for test and tune I will get used to the slicks a lot more. 15.1-15.2 are going to be very possible witha 1.7 - 1.8 60'

Glad to see you didn't scare away your sister totally from last time out, but I notice she's not sitting shotgun with you this time. Love that vid. Congrats on the times improving and the new look with the new rims/tires. Help us out here a little if you will. What rpm(s) did you take off at? Did you slip the clutch or dump it? Where did you shift at down the track?

I just got some DRs myself, not the slicks you have, but hoping for better grip to dip into the 13s. I've been told that for every .1 at the 60' is worth .2 at the end.

yeah i have heard that too! I am hoping for 15.0s

3500-4000 feathering but that is the wrong thing to do

And 5800-6000 are my shift points

I will be dumping at 5000 at 15 psi instead of 20 psi and i should have my 1.7-1.8 60's!

When I ran et on my 2000 i ran them at 12 psi and launched at 4500-5000. 5000 was after more mods

man, you guy's launch points are rahter high...

i launched mine at the track at like 2400 and had like a 2.2 60 or something i don't remember.... just seems rather high. did the slicks help out a bunch?

Launch points depend on the car, I used to be able to launch like that when I was N/A, now I have to slip the clutch at about 3400 rpm.

What exactly does side step the clutch mean..?
pretty much exactly what it sounds like. instead of feathering teh clutch(up and down on the clutch) to help keep traction, you can just let the clutch out all the way and just go!.
