Its ok, people that Mod hondas generally do it becuase its cheap as hell to buy a honda, swap and engine and a turbo kit and run fast times.....but it still leaves them with a car that is only good for going fast at the drag strip.

What I dont understand is why they think it would cost any more moeny to buy a fox body 5.0 and run 11s.

It is funny cause once they come to the dark side they never go back

mr honda this is a mustang forum stfu dont come on here talking crap to mustang owners with a honda, my car is still a n/a 5.0 and i can run the same times as your car, and ur car took a motor swap and turbo in that 2,000lb car, vs my car stock block n/a all motor , so that makes you the SLOW ONE : )

sorry all of you ford mustang guy's . 16.5 is fast sorry i said that a 16.5 was slow if a 16.5 is fast for your cars i will not be buying a ford mustang. An for the guy that ran a 14.4 you have to have some nos or something under your seat dont you lol

put into perspective that a 06GT with a vortech only ran 14.6 at 96 mph, those cars stock are capable of 13.5s ar over 100, with a blower and any decent amount of boost that car should be able to run 12s and trap close 120 mph on street tires...probably capable of 11s.

HE RUNS AT BANDIMERE! ALL CARS RUN A LOT SLOWER THERE!

I don know what that guy was doing, just pointing out that that car should trap atleast 10-15 mph more at a normal track- if not 20 mph more.

He pretty much had full suspension, slicks on bigs/littles, maybe weight reduction, gears I believe, and a 100 shot of nitrous. Maybe long tubes, I forget exactly all he had.

He cuts like 1.6-1.7 60 foots...in that range

So before he did any work to his car he was running a 15.897 @87.22mph at 5800 ft that was his best his average was in the 16s marks,so if he came down to the track i run at witch is 1180 ft would you agree that he should be about the same as me around a 14.4 or so ya me too.so what i'm trying to say is that if I did the same amount of work to my car that mustangmatt did to his car witch to me is not a whole lot of work but at 5800 ft he is running 13.1 so bring him to 1180 ft and take away tht 1.6 difference from his track to mine he would be running 11.50 or so.I just find this hard to believe that if I do a 100 shot some suspension work,big/littles I would be running 1150s in the 1/4 in order for my car that weight is 3400 pounds with me in it to run 11.50 in the 1/4 would have to make 441hp and this amout of work that mustangmatt has done is not gonna do it.so whats wrong here why is all of this not adding up?

in order for him to run the same mph as you did he would have to pick up like 55whp that going from 87mph to 95 mph at his race weight 3440. "5800ft v/s 1180 i can see him gained 55whp

his weight and mph makes him have like 175whp
at his race weight of 3440 to run 99mph he would have made like 260whp not hard with 100shot .

i call BS in order for him to gain 20mph going from his 99mph run . he would have to make like 450whp witch would but his mph at 119mph not going to happen . that like 190whp over his 260whp

I have heard more Eracing in the last 2 posts than I ever thought Id hear in my life.

Take away the 1.6-1.7 60 foots and he would be looking at more like high 13s- 14.0 maybe....

so he knocked off 2 seconds from his et with full bult ons, gears, suspension, and a 100 shot

My car is 2 seconds faster than stock with l/t, bolt ons, 3.73s, and a blower.

Theres way to many variables to even begin to talk about this shit.

with 10 psi and any kind of bolt ons or meth/intercooler 05+ gt's make over 450 at the wheels

Im not trying to argue with you Im just asking a question what Im asking is right now mustagmatt's car runs a 13.1 or so right?so take his car load it up on a trailer bring it to pittsburg raceway witch is 1180ft unload it run it down the track and your saying take away 1.6-1.7 sec. it will run 11.50 or so because of the difference in the elevation of the two tracks right?all Im saying is I think I would have to do more to my car than what mustangmatt has done to run 11.50 in the 1/4 at my track, in order for me with my mustang that weights 3400 pounds with me in it to run 11.50 in the 1/4 i would have to make 440 horsepower or so and all im saying is that I dont think mustangmatt is making that kind of power with what he has done.do you see what Im saying Im not trying to call you a lier or argue with you it just dont make since to me

O I see what you mean.

I believe theres a differance in the power it takes to go from 14.5 to 13.1 and 13.1 to 11.5.

But if you had your car exactly the same as matts car and cut 1.6 60 foots and were spraying a 100 shot I would bet your car could run damn near 11.5

I guess low 12s/high 11s would be more reasonable.

Theres a guy with a stalled auto00 GT over on corral that makes all of 240 rwhp with complete drag suspension, weight reduction, gears, etc.

Point is, his car runs 12.2 @ 113 mph with a 1.6 60 foot and no more than 300 hp. He has only bolt ons and full exhaust.

Its not all about power.

I really have no idea what his car would do....maybe he will run it at sealevel on day so we can find out.

I was referring to the 07 GT that only trapped 96 mph
