Wrong again, 3000+ lb SN's can do low 12's with less than 300 hp. a local GT does 12.1 with a race suspension NA (meaning no Nitrous) dyno proven 277 rwhp on 28" ET streets.

idk the elevation of our local track but i know a couple GT's runnin well NA with bolt ons, just search you tube and you'll find several videos of 4.6's runnin 12's on bolt ons.

That 07 Gt with a vortech should make anywhere from 400-500 rwhp at sea level...I have no idea what he is making in the side of a mountain.

Im saying that at sealevel that car should make well over 400 and trap 115~ or so


You must be used to hondas with no torque...theres LS1 Camaros tha run 10s at 130 mph with 400 at the wheels.

The car that runs 12.2 @ 113 with like 250 rwhp weighs in at like 2800 lbs, with a driver and gas its a 3000lb+ car

HP is not all that matters.
Take this for example: just say all these cars weigh 3000 lbs
a 400 hp honda runs 12s/13s, 400 hp mustangs run 11s/12s, 400 hp ls1s, run 10s/11s

You see the trend here?

400 hp in a 2l is not = to 400 hp in a 4.6l just as 400hp in a 4.6l mustang is not= to 400 hp in an ls1

more cubic inches generally means more torque and power under the curve

Hondas thrive on being gutted oversized go carts.

Put that little 1.8l in a normal car, like one that doesnt weight 2300 lbs. Add 1,000 lbs to your car and watch your 12.9 turn into like 14.9

Theres a guy with a stalled auto00 GT over on corral that makes all of 240 rwhp with complete drag suspension, weight reduction, gears, etc.

Point is, his car runs 12.2 @ 113 mph with a 1.6 60 foot and no more than 300 hp. He has only bolt ons and full exhaust.

Its not all about power.

I really have no idea what his car would do....maybe he will run it at sealevel on day so we can find out.
I just think that is pretty fast for such little work done to a npi car something to look foward to I guess

Im not even sure but suspension goes a long way....


He has the setup and with his mods and 100 shot he should be around/over 300 rwhp...so with some weight reduction he should definately be able to hit 11s with a drag setup and his 60 foots.

i know his 60 foot times were very low, so im assuming he already has a decent amount of suspension mods. the faster you are outa the hole, the better your times are going to be, i did 14.8 stock and only had a 2.4 60 foot.
