Right on man those wheels look sick. And yeah for sure when you add chrome wheels the curb appeal when you drive by people goes way up. They see that shine and always gotta look. That's how it was in my Camaro. Def considering getting some chromes on my GT as well. Lookin great man. Can't wait to see that bich dropped on those bad boys

Lol its all good dude. Neither of them wanna hear about the cars lol, they know I'm nuts about it. Main thing is, I need a credit card to order chit and they don't want me buyin stuff lol. My dad let me do most of the stuff I did like the stereo, cai, bigger maf, shifter. I got the inserts myself, the led gauge cluster & dome light bulbs, led plate bulbs, headlight covers, painted the pony emblem and strut tower brace. I don't wanna do anything major with the car, just some chit here and there lol. Hopefully I can line up a few cars to detail soon and I'll be able to buy springs and have em installed!

^ I already got a car account and a school bank account lol. I can take money outta my school account but I don't like taking $$ out of there. I gotta get my car bank account switched over so I can take out $$ when I want. I also got this thing called a PASS card from American express. Basically a card you put $$ on and use it as a credit card. Needless to say I have like $2 on that thing and haven't used it in over a year lmao.

I don't have the air tools, and my dad would probably never let me cut em lol. I can get SVE springs for like $159 or somethin like that.

Do you have a regional / local forum? When I first started working on my car when i had no tools guys from my local mustang club would always lend me a hand.

Fawk my parents were the exact opposite.. On my Grand Am and Camaro they said NO don't waste any money on them. But the Mustang I tell them "yeah spent this on this and that on that" and my mom will just be like "wow... That's expensive" My dad just gets that little shit grin on his face because he knows what the money spent means haha. I get my passion for cars from him, and being a Ford worker since he was 18 kinda turned us into a Ford family and I grew up with the Mustang being my favorite car. Hell I even found an old Mustang key chain on my old Browns lanyard from when I was a kid and I designated that lanyard as the Mustang key. Never thought I'd actually own one man. And my dad regrets having ever sold his 2 fast cars. And one of his had a race engine in it lol. So he loves driving my car as much as I do, and the more mods the more he enjoys driving it. Not sure what it would be like having them tell me "no you can't do shit to your car" I'd probably leave haha.

As for tools it may sound stupid but seriously check eBay. I've gotten an SK 3/8's set off there for dirt cheap used, and a new Proto 1/2 breaker bar and something Snap-On.... But if you do it that way you can build up a quality set of tools. Shoot I just picked up a Craftsman 3/8 deepwell socket set for less than $30 today and it came with 10-19mm. Can't go wrong with Craftsman bud. As for air tools same thing man. Craftsman are very very affordable. For impacts my old man and I have a few Craftsman, a few Chicago pneumatic's (old school CP, like older than me) and then a few Ingersoll Rand which is what I prefer myself. We have 1/2 and 3/4 impact guns lol. I got lucky with tools since my dad had almost everything but I've spent a couple grand on my own shit to add to the collection. Just take your time and look around for deals man

i didn't use any airtools while i was lowering mine. a 8 dollar dremel from harbor freight with quality cutting wheels will do just fine.

Only air tool I used when I did mine was an air chisel. And that's only because I couldn't get the pry bar up under the busted coil in the bottom of BOTH front control arms lol. Other than that I too used just hand tools
