< BR > is HTML code for "break" it puts the next segment of code on the next line of the webpage without skipping a line ( <p> will skip a line) anyways, we dont support HTML because it can be rather unstable on forums (if some prankster starts adding open tags like <p> without closing them </p> some web browsers will get fuubarred up.)

Anyways, this post looks like he was just copying and pasting from another thread of his elsewhere. I wont lock it, because its not spam or anything... just an honest mistake.
