Well I decided to get rid of my f150 I had in turn for a 1999 f250 7.3l 6 speed. Custom paint, 39.5 inch tires with 20 inch rims, full audio system. 160k miles :headbang:

Don't take this the wrong way my man because I don't want to sound like a dick but I hate single cab trucks lol. Add the extended cab to that thing and I would be drooooling. And the crew cab, good lawd get me some tissues! I like everything about that truck except the single cab lol. Love the paint, looks very similar to the paint on my ZJ, love the big mud tires, love the sound system, LOVE the 7.3, and love the 6 speed, just don't like the cab haha. Great ride tho man!!

Manual transmission powerstrokes are bleh.

Dodges you HAVE to get the manual. But the 4r100s are plenty strong for a ford.

Just my opinion...

How much did you buy it for? 16k?

I prefer the looks of a single cab, and 4 doors. I think extended cabs look awkward. Nice truck.

Single cabs aren't that bad guys. Love the truck. I really need to get my 7.3L fixed... they're such good trucks.

the single cabs don't look bad! i just dont like the extended cabs on the f250s... i love extended cabs in my 98 f150 body style, but the f250s look goofy! have to be crew or single.

My 99 was lifted 8" on 37's and I couldn't keep the driveshafts in it. Nice looking truck tho. I miss the sound of my 7.3....My new cummins sounds nowhere near as good.

Thanks guys! I dont like single cab as much as crew but I picked it up for 6700...the guy couldnt make payments anymore so I paid off what he owed. Took it to a mechanic to get a second look over and its clean as a whistle! It has 10 inches of lift. Also I forgot to add yesterday it has the six gun shooter. So an extra 60-140 hp with the turn of a knob...and it can get up and go too. Im uploading some pics now but my internet is being slow

Some deals you just can't pass up. I totally get that man. And I believe the 10" for sure. Just basing it off of where my old mans F350 sits. We've got air bags for towing tho so literally I can gain almost 3in in seconds. Be sure to post up some more pics!

i would take a single cab short bed over any extended or quad cab. short beefy wide lifted trucks look bad ass imo. huge cabs with smaller beds look like they are strictly for pulling horse and cattle trailers, lol. this looks like it's for getting muddy and tearing up some shit!! bad ass truck imo!!! :headbang:
