I have a BBK O/R H-Pipe, Flowmasters, then dumps.

And I LIKE it.


Its not THAT loud. Annoying is having your h-pipe not conect in the middle forever.

The "drone" is only noticeable around 2,500 RPMs, but the look far outweighs any change in sound for me.

cheapy LTs, custom made ORH, and some very quiet flowmasters with 45's. No drone here what so ever. It's quiet as all get out lol

I have dumps. I also am not really understanding what this asks.
I have my stock headers-no cats-stock H pipe-IMCO Racing mufflers-then dumps out. It sounds really nice, to me. Sorry, never really got what 'drone' sounds like. It was raspy when I had it coming out the sides though! I do know that, I kinda liked it though.

I bet most dont know what drone is(thats why they say they dont have it). flowmasters are the worst for it but hey i dont drive it daily and i dont want ot waste money on exhaust, that i have already done.

My mom's SS has a horrible drone, makes interstate driving a beotch. I speed just to get out of it. My car doesnt have it. The only time its really loud/obnoxious is really low, at like maybe 1200rpms, makes the entire car shake, lmao

just throw a set of dynomax resonators on the H pipe and that will help clean it up a little.

I used to have dumps, put the tail pipes back on. Droned too much + My car just looks too bland without the pipes. I don't know, but my car is super quiet at 2,000 rpm, and I have headers and no cats!!!

I have my Flows dumped. It doesn't drone unless the RPM dips to around 1.5k. I can definitely tell shit's starting to get loose inside though. I have certain rattles now that I didn't have before.

Yeah if you guys wanna hear what a drone is just unbolt your cat back and run it on the highway you will have a massive drone.... I put a set of turndowns on a factory muffler and it sounded real nice with the Catco high flow cats in my H i only had 2 cats and not 4 though.... it had a nice tone to it.
