The funny thing is that it's faster than my 95 GT! Whenever I get the chance I want to have my dad run me in this to see how much of a dog the Mustang is. Anyway, I know this ain't really the place for VW's but I thought you guys might like to see it. I've posted some old pics on here before, but these turned out pretty good.

freaking awesome!!!

Man those old bugs could be fast as hell with very minor mods from what I recall. 200hp got you in the 12s or 13s :thumb:

Buddy of mine had a nice '55 bug back in HS. Unfortunately, he got in a 25mph wreck on a rainy day and it ruined the car.

Cool car? HELL YES.

safe? yeah... about that...

Very true. Never dynoed mine, but 14.45 is my best in the 1/4 mile and 8.98 is my best in the 1/8th. Very fun on the street as you can imagine when a Camaro pulls up and wants to play. No power adders here, just a hot rod motor. Stroked crank, bigger pistons and cylinders, and massive headwork fed by dual carbs.

How can you post a Big an NOT post Motor Pics/Info
