well i had to change out my injectors and now my car idles from around 500 to 1500. sometimes a little lower that it dies and sometimes almost up to 2000. My only guess is that when i unbolted my upper intake the gasket is old and now its not sealin all the way causing it to suck in air? I havent drove it since its my 2nd car. i want this fixed but dont know what to do. There is blow by or vacum hose just behind the intake in the motor. that doesnt go anywhere. maybe this is it? when car runs it blows air not sucks?

Virtually every pipe attached to an inlet manifold will suck in air, [apart from pipes carrying water, electrical connections etc] the intake is like a giant hoover.
Does sound like somethings come off or split, or the gasket between the two has perished.

That sounds like the PCV hose. It goes from a port under the upper intake to the PCV valve in the middle of the lower intake. Also replace the upper to lower intake gasket. Then you should be good to go.

you should always replace the gaskets when taking apart the intake. did you change your Mass Air to the proper injectors?
