My First Impressions: In the looks department its the exact same car. I'm not blind, i can see the subtle changes. But to me, it looks like just another face lift, the same trick they have been using since transformers 1 but they have never re-branded it a new generation. Calling this a "gen 6" is a disappointing marketing attempt for sales... The 14 to 15 mustang is a new generation....but this.. idk.
On to the performance!
The power plants offered are of-course a direct aim at Ford Mustang Power Plant options. The 200 lbs shaved were also focused on due to the mustangs curb weight. They were not too smart as to launching the car in may to boost preorder sales....it will have the ford team scrambling to cap the 25 extra hp in the gt and perhaps allow additional weight savings for their own 2016 model.
The SS will be priced at about approx more or less $10,000 above the 15 Ford Mustang Gt, and approx more or less $20,000 away from a base model Stingray....if i were in the position where i was about to buy a new gm sports car in that price range id fork out the extra 20k....but that's not going to happen because im happy in my sn95 .
What do you guys think?
