Yea, I've heard they are pretty bad for performance but for price and how long they last, I don't think they can be beat.
Yes.. That is true.. They do last a lifetime, but they scare me at times because the car gets loose when I don't expect it too because of the lack of grip...
thats what i was gonna say. My michelin Pilot Sports handled pretty well in the Central Florida rain. 8)
omg... I swear I can make a slow turn in 2nd and get them to spin still... I will be buying nitto's for my next set this summer..
ive become like an expert in the rain...the only time i spun coming home from work was at one stop light, where i was like in a puddle of water....and on the way home, some little ricer miata was trying to egg me on to race him. the sad thing was that he probably would have one, i could hear his turbo :noes:
Yeah, i'm used to these sumi's now.. but I still won't ever be buying another set unless I am that strapped for cash...
Re: O M G Sumitomos SUCK in the rain! Yeah, neither will I if I can find so me other 315/35s that arent drag radials.
You know what sucks? 275/40's on ice. I put my rims back on a few weeks ago because the snow melted. Well the Minnesota weather decided to be gay a week ago and it snowed again leaving a ton of ice on the road. I made 5 of my 6 stops. The one I missed was on a hill and I kept sliding. Had to go down and come back up, lol.
