my offroad xpipe has been a headachel. that stupid ass smog pump that connected to the cats is connected to hosing to the xpipe but the smog pump isn't being supported like it was with the stock h. and its rattling and hitting the frame. what can I do to keep in from bouncing and keep it at the same time I need it for inspection and don't want to remove it this is just an everyday driver.

If your catted pipe is only going on for inspection and being taken off again immediately after, you can just delete the smog pump and all the crap that goes with it. The only visual inspection I get is for presence of cats, the techs here couldnt tell a smog pump from an A/C compressor. The only plus for having the pump with cats is to extend their life, but if they are only on for inspection that is not a problem. They also help warm the cats quicker so they do thier job, just run 10 minutes on the highway in 4th before the test and your cats will be good and warm.

Personally, I have an ORH going on, and as soon as I have a free afternoon Im deleting the smog and short belting the car.
