I'm thinking I may want to put some new ones in mine before I try and take it through emissions. I know the bosch ones are total ass so what is a good replacement sensor to buy that doesn't cost like $80 for each?

The OEM Ford ones are the only ones worth the $$.

Well, drove the car today, mileage was actually comparable to what the car got before I did the HCI so maybe mine are still ok?

Motorcraft uses Bosch for their o2 sensors. my car was running very rough, misfiring, would run at what seemed like
20% of it's ability, and then BAM all of a sudden 100%... ran the OBD1 scanner and it said "bank 2 reading rich".
replaced both o2 sensors with OEM ford (bosch) and it runs like a champ now..

My O2s were causing idle surge and stalling. They did this long before causing Lean codes. I bought Denso sensors from Jegs for about $46 each. They work great.
