ODOMETER,TEMP guages are all cashed out

My odometer, and temp guage just cashed out on me the other day. I went to my mechanic and he said most likely i need a guage cluster? Im new with this, does he mean an entire set of guages out of another car? Will this automatically fix these issues? If anyones guages have crapped out on them like this let me know! Also if you know where I can buy anything I need to fix this or where to get a guage cluster post here.

you dont need a new cluster.

The problem with the Odo could be worn out gears,which can be replaced and as far as the Temp gauge IMO just get an aftermarket one,is more accurate,i think we have Both of the How to's here.

get a new worm gear for odometer off ebay. temp gauge is likely the sending unit.

well my dash light stopped working and i have changed switch wiring plug(old one burnt)bulbs checked fuses still does not work what the freak
