Oil Seal question

well whenever i was going to go put my 2nd crank pulley on i noticed my oil seal is torn.. so how hard is this to change out. i mean it didn't look hard but i'm just looking for some imput thanks

requires taking the timing cover off.

Front crank seal does not require pulling the front cover. It's very easy, use a seal puller or you can drill a self tapper in and use that to putt the old seal out. Then push a new one in.

guess thats true. but will the seal puller go around the crank shaft part that sticks out?

It's just a hook. I use this one when I do front crank seals:

I could see how that one would work. I did mine when i had the timing cover off. didnt think there was a tool to pull it out.

unless i can find something to use or 96gt wants to ship me his and i'll ship it back lol
