FR500s do look sick in the hypercoated finish but i like that finish on my Saleens too. Widening wheels is so dam expensive I really don't think it's worth it but that's just my opinion.

boo ya

I just bought a laser red Cobra vert with the same rims as yours, I put my DD Silver bullits on it. Looks great IMO. For some reason I think your car would look great(even with the droip you have now) sitting on Silver FR500's...

Here is a pic for reference of my old car with the rims on. Car is FS btw(sorry for the threadjack lol)

you're giving yourself a $2,000 budget? thats quite a budget for wheels for a mustang. most dime-a-dozen mustang wheels that you see, can be had for under $700 brand new for just the wheels... that leaves you with almost $1300 to spend on tires. if you leave yourself about $800-1000 on tires, you'd have plenty of money to get a really nice, and even unique set of wheels.

those wheels are sick, but because our cars have no actual fender flares, they look awkward on sn95's. even with the correct offset for our cars, the spoke design protrudes from the wheel at the center making it look strange.

for $2k you could probably find someone willing to sell a set of CCW's. granted they'd be used, but most people that have CCW's keep them in next to perfect condition anyway.

Your car looks amazing how it is.. but if you're determined to change em i'd say go with 2000 cobras.

I love Bullitt rims. Either silver, or anthracite. BUT.........I think the 1995 Cobra R's in chrome, 10.5 in the back and 9" in the front would make that car really POP.

the only problem with the bullits is that if you really look around for them... you see them everywhere i mean you could get them from the factory in a couple of the years from 99-04. a very angular wheel looks awesome on our body style (cobra r, saleen, etc...)

95r's/98 cobra wheels are definitely in the running for the ugliest wheel ever put on a mustang from the factory. the only cars that can SOMETIMES pull them off are foxes.

I like 98 Cobras pretty well actually.. I thought they were some of the better factory wheels.
