Nice build! Glad you went back to the mustang. SN95 Cobras are a blast! Low on power but that can be changed.

Yeah i am as well, hondas suck! But there fun n cheap. I really like sn95s, my first car was a black 95 i posted on here wen i was young. I had a choice of 03/04 cobra but you rarely see sn95s done all the way out and i intend to do everything to this car.

yeah my dad restored high end cars for 20 years, than went into colision repair but we are about to start restorations again.

Got the motor out and dissembled and dropped it off at the machine shop, I'll be spraying the engine bay next and hiding some wires.

Been mainly waiting on the machine shop, I should have the motor next week to start assembly on it, I got the UPR k member and all the front end goodies ordered or installed, still waiting on camber plates, bump steer kit, and strange struts to come in, I got the control arms k member and off set steering rack bushings in. Now its basically a hurry up and wait game spend money and wait again...

Heres how it sits.

I'm rebuilding my 98 motor as well. What kind of money do you have into the machine work? I think I'll be going with Manley parts as well. Did you reuse your forged crank?

nice man no expenses spared i see. thats how you bring a car from the ashes! i would have done everything exactly the same as you have if it were me rebuilding the car. i love the black on black with the touch of red. by far my favorite color combos.

hope to see that thing on the dyno soon!

just curious but why did you paint it and then pull the motor? I would have started there myself to get the engine bay painted as well as to ensure nothing dumb happens to the paint.

But forget that it looks like the paint could not have come out better. I am hoping to have my car painted in the next couple of years and planning on doing some wet-sanding on it to polish it up. Any idea how many hours you have into just the rubbin and buffin?

thanks for the compliments, i've poured almost every dollar i make in to this car and gave 100% effort on making it a beautiful example of a sn95 cobras potential and something i can be proud of. as far the paint process, i actualy painted the engine bay after i pulled the motor and i have the whole front end off the car so i will install the motor than assemble it. i have roughly 5 4 hour sessions in it, it still needs more, but im going to be repainting the doors and roof and hood as well, black is a very hard color to get straight
