oops? car fixed

k, well i was going to take the advice of mr. Paul and check my MAF to see if it would run in closed loop like he said to.. so of course i have a JLT CAI so the MAF is moved into the fenderwell which is why i hadn't checked it yet. soo yesterday i jacked up the car, took the wheel off and took out the fenderwell cover thing and my maf + filter just fell into my lap. soooooo im guessing that was my problem haha.. i am buying a new JLT kit this summer because im not very happy with the one i have right now.

i got it put all back in and my car runs amazing! :thumb: now its time to go wash it because it has been sitting outside for a week and a half un moved and i hadn't washed it for a week before that so, its REALLLLLY dirty.. lol

whats wrong with your current JLT? I heard they have great customer service and you can probally send it back and get a new one??

i bought it off a veteran member on here, vert tire smoke. he was awesome and nothing is really his fault, its just the JLT for some reason was cut in half when i received it so then i had to go to lowes and get those plumbing boots or w/e to clamp around the intake tubes and the clamps that hold the MAF assembly and the air filter came loose so it fell off. and when i took it off, the WHOLE thing wasn't off, there was just a huge hole on one of the sides of the boot where it had come off.. the fenderwell was keeping the other side of the boot pushed up against the JLT intake.

i will have to take pictures of my intake setup. im using my MAC CAI to angle the air filter right behind the fog light and then that connects to the MAF which hangs straight down off the end of the JLT CAI. it fits amazing inside the fender well but it may just be to much weight.
