black housing is brighter since the lenses is not exactly smoked.

But smoked looks 100x times better from the front view of the car IMO.

blue oval industries was the cheapest spot when i was looking for a pair. smoked headlights are the only way to go. Check it out same pair i have on my DFG

You have to be careful which ones you buy though. I bought some last year, and they were peeling in less than a year. But now, they have ones that LOOK the exact same, supposedly made by a different company, and they have a 1yr warranty.

I need to find better pics of the black housing sets they all look sorta grey overall. If I go smoked I want a set that doesn't have the orange reflector in the markers it looks much cleaner without.

I don't think BOI sells the black beauty headlights so I'd guess they're the smoked ones, which is what they look like to me.

I wanted to post in this thread the other night but my computer is a dinosaure turd and blah. Anyways, I've had a couple different sets of headlights.

If you guys get a group buy from a sponser, great. If not please save yourselves some money and buy headlights off ebay. Much cheaper for the exact same products.

LateModelRestoration has some that I want. I believe they are clear in the front, but tinted in the inside. So maximum shine from the headlights, but still having a dark look. Mine right now kind of kill the HID's

You talking about these? I have them, they work GREAT but still give it that black look without losing visibility of coloring the lens.

yeah... I've seen a few sets in person and just don't care for them. There are worse looking headlights though that's for sure.
