lol, well you guys will be shocked at this thread. it is a wheel opinion thread by Tony. whhaaaaaaaaa?

here is my situation. i have already ordered about $700 worth of air ride. so kinda committed myself to bags.

i was all about CCW's till they gave me the sad news that they cannot do 20x9's up front :( would have to be 19's. i dont want 19's up front. so i went on another wheel hunt and came across some other wheels. which i have posted before. as far as fitment and tuckability (that's a word) 2 wheels will work that i have found:

BOSS polished 338's

am i the only one that cant help but like these^^^

VOSSEN:

these are just quick chops but these are the 2 i'm feelin. both have the right fitments. the boss wheels i already had, just different finish. so i know they would work. the vossen i'm going of the fitment on a new edge.

so which do ya guys like?

lol, you guys have expensive taste. bout $3,500 with tires vs. bout $2,000 with tires on the boss. but yea, i would def pay it. and these chops are nothing compared to how these vossen wheels look in person.

Tony, if youre basing the wheel fitment off a new edge you will be disappointed. The axles lengths are different and I believe the front is different as well. To which way im not positive but i know theyre different

i was told that the new edge is the same. the guy i spoke with at ccw said that wheels from a new edge would slightly sit in on an sn. which is actually fine. here is the fitment from the vossen/new edge:

That Cobra has an IRS and fitment will deceive you yet again T-dizzle!! The IRS is a bit wider on than our the 94/98's 8.8's!!

Honestly, I don't really like either of them, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the vossen.

Irs sits about 3/4 of an inch wider than our axles do. So if you want that fitment youd need about that size spacer, which if you have youre good to go!

it is a wheel opinion thread by Tony ... so which do ya guys like?

You asked for opinions, and I gave mine. You asked which ones we like, and I said neither... BUT, if I HAD to choose between the two options you presented, I would pick the vossen.

so what do ya like deeplist

I like my FR500s, of course. Anything bigger than 18" looks ghetto on these cars, IMO.

lets get a mod to delete this thread for me :) cause me and deeplist are about to go at it, lolol. i honestly just dont like the dude. and i am not the only one. plus the whole topic on anything bigger than 18's actually has REALLY ran its fuukin coarse man!!!! and i'm pretty sure that he has directed this thread in that direction. so the following thanks that he gets and comments on wheel size are just going to get on my fn nerves.

EDIT: DELETE THIS BIITCH..
