Have a 95 Rio Red GT - Paint in some areas gets a white haze. Have polished and polished and polished. Its almost like the paint needs to be moisturized. Water or other liquid darkens paint for a while then haze returns. Is there anything on the market which actually adds moisture to the paint. Moisture is probably not the right word but you know what I mean. Thanks

Hmm, well the best I could think that you could is get it clearcoated again, or repainted.

when you say polish...what do you mean?

I would try a orbital buffer with a 1500 compound and then a polish.

If that doesnt work your paint is probably a lost cause.

All you need to do is hit it with a porter cable with a swirl remover such as Poor Boys SSR. 3, 2 then 1.

Problem solved .....

Then you need to polish it with what ever you like.

The white haze is usually caused by mixing polishes that don't work well together.

If you bring it to Toronto I'll fix it in 2 hours. :)

I agree, the Poorboy's polishes work great. I carry these in stock and members here get a 10% discount as well.
