Painted rear valance-PIC'S NEEDED

I'm deciding on whether or not to paint my rear valance. Id like to see some results of some that have been painted, preferably on laser red cars, but all are welcome. Some look decent and others look out of place when done. I have horizontals and im not quite sure it would look to good. POST UP! :thumbsup:

Do it, it looks great. Mine was black from the factory but it was a little faded so I redid it with satin black.

My cousin thought it would look better cleared rather than just flat black. @ the time I was not happy, love it now.

I asked them to paint my wiper cowl, as well. My cousin says paint doesn't stick to that material, well. Might work perfect, or peels off while driving down the highway? He just told me he doesn't like painting that stuff. I thought it was basically the same material my mirrors are made out of. He said they aren't even close. I found a carbon fiber one he said will hold the paint. Kinda forgot all about it though.

I've seen people paint the cowl panel, paint sticks just fine.

Ive tried getting the cowl off and its like i get it almost off and then the driver side is just stuck in.

I looked at removing it once as well and could not.....

Well I started about 6 today and with a small pizza break finished up about 7 and let it dry for a good time. It was really muggy outside (typical houston weather) so the lens fogged up on the first shot..

I did sand it as well with 320

I put away the camera at food time so no real finished shot but it came out awesome, well worth the doing.

Same here, mine came factory with the black valance but there is yellow swirl marks on there from before my brother owned the car, not sure from what though lol.

I used gloss and like it a little better personally. I had to laugh when I noticed you masked off the tail pipe as I realized I didn't have to because of my side exhaust...
