I was doing some research on it last night and it seems it works by inertia and may need to be bolted into the car to release again.

DW, I did try to fix it, took of the red plastic cover where pall is that ratchets the belt tensioner,, had it sitting in the car to see if I could get it to work. Nothing would do as its suppose to. I did not take off the cover that is riveted and says "DO NOT REMOVE". Not sure whats wrong with it, at least I can't figure it out and I'm pretty good at fixn things. Sorry Man!

I have the defrost vents yes, dash cluster bezel? Let me check on that, but I don't think it came with that one. The one that holds the headlight switch and rear defrost button?

Pulled the rear windows, their motors, and the entire top yesterday. Cutting the car in half today to get ready to scrap it. Buy some dang parts guys!!!

I got the complete top off as one unit and have a glass company coming over today to remove the windshield for me. LEMME KNOW GUYS!!!!
