i was wondering if anyone has read about the new patriot performance freedom heads for the 5.0's? i was looking into trying these out for my setup, since i dont have any heads yet. that is the only thing i need to finish up my setup and was wondering if i could see some big improvements from these heads or something similar.any advice will be helpful. i was going to get the 185's for my setup:

trick flow street heat upper/lower,e303,cold air intake,70mm t.b.,bbk long tubes,bbk pullys,msd cap/rotor/coil,frpp wires,3.73's,dynomax bullets.

remember heads are expensive for a reason. Just think that you get what you pay for. I heard these were offshore castings is that correct>?? I was thinking it was like Professional Products but I'm not sure. Try em out , maybe they are just a bad ass deal.

well as i did some diggin up on the patriot heads, they came out on the latest 5.0 MUSTANG magazine and were installed on a fox body that made 302rwhp and 344 lb tq. with all bolt ons. i think those are pretty good numbers for a NA car!so i guess im leaning more to getting this set unless anyone says other wise. need help in narowing down the choices. thanks!

I've always heard their heads are junk unless you work them a little bit. LIke the ports are out of round or the valves aren't sealing right. But with a little maching they are fine. I would do more homework before you buy. So they wouldn't be lowering quality it'd be the same quality. I know you wanna get a good head for the money but with the price of heads and then machine work it'll come out to the same cost as a trick flow head. But like PRO Products stuff not everything needs to be machined when it arrives so you might get lucky you might not.
