A guy close to where I'm from is selling Complete PI heads with valves and cams for $200.00. They are off a 2001. I have a 1998 Will these heads work with my car? Is my car a Romeo or Windsor style Head and Is the Price worth it?

the price is very well worth it! ask how many miles are on them though, and how long they have been off the car.

for the record, 1998 GT's had Romero engines.
2001 GT's had either Romero or Windsor engines. easiest way to tell is look at the way the cams are held in place. if it has girles (look like ladders, 2 per head) then they are Romero. if they have caps (just 1 bridge looking thing that goes over the cam and is bolted onto the head by 2 bolts and arent connected to anything else) they are probably Windsor heads.

let me see if i can dig up some pics

EDIT:

found some pics for ya:

see the ladder looking things on the Romero heads? thats the main visible difference betweent he windsor and the romero.

edited my previous post to include pics. oh, and btw, either windsor or romero heads will work on your car. they are 100% interchangeable.

Dont you have to use diffrent valve covers or something because of more bolt holes? Sorry for so many questions.

Yeah, there are more bolts on the valve covers in Windsor heads. I used Windsor parts to do my PI swap. The only other differences are there are a few bolts for the timing cover that need to be changed from 8mm to 10mm.

yeah, i didnt mention the valve covers because for the most part those are always included in the sale, at least when i was looking around they always were. the valve cover bolts are easy, just go to ford and get them from them.
