Oh ok, that makes sense now.dafizuck said:I believe the $500 one is the livernois performance one that eliminates the use of rtv. I picked up my 180* thermostat from steeda.com. Stant is the company I believe.

Wrong, myself and many others are using non-pi gaskets and they work just fine.
sam92lx said:It's done...ran into a few problems though. After getting intake back on had some fluid get into a few of the cylinders..more than i thought. So we pulled the the plugs and turned it over a few times...(yes we drain the car). Now my question is I have a spit and sputter at idle and only at idle. Driving it runs awesome no hesitation all the way to 6k. Could I have fouled a few plugs?? Vaccum leak??I haven't had a chance to look since it's be raining.. Just asking question before I tackle it again. Thanks.
btw...I can tell a difference from the swap...I fell it more in 3rd & 4th b/c of my 4.10's. But all in all...taking it off and on took us about 1:15 mins or so.

Does the exhaust sound cammy and real hollow? I had that sound when i put my nonpi back together because i left off a vacuum plug.
How long did you wait for the RTV to cure? Im hoping my kit is here by friday :headbang:

I don't think its a vaccum line...I'll be changing plugs this weekend. I gave the silicone about 10mins and dropped on the intake. FYI, check all the little gasket for the thermostat on the bottom side. I didn't have had to pull the intake back off and cleaned it up real good. I also laid down a bead of silicone around them as well.
funny sig...lol I updated it.
