Driving is believing... before PI my 4.6 was flat on its face after 5000 RPM, a lot like the 5.0 cars in that respect. After the PI there's a noticeable difference for the better.

it will allow you to pull a little longer..maybe to 5500...but I did it without pi cams and thinks its a waste...do pi cams with the intake or dont do it at all.

I agree, the Intake is an upgrade and usually nets about 15rwhp but the PI cams add atleast another 15rwhp and in conjuction raise your powerband up and over 5500rpms where my NPI was dead at 4500rpms...

Together you get a 30+rwhp boost for about $250....thats a great bang for your buck!

ok job done.

lost some bottom end snap.seems to be a little laggy.but, the mid-bigend is great now.reminds me of my stock 97 cobra.a little laggy but likes the big rpms.

3rd-4th gear shift is kickass.i shifted @ 5800. as where before i had to shift about 4800-5k.

i didnt have the camgear bolts so i will swap the npi/pi cams next weekend.

btw,i love my 4.6!

you should get some of the lower power back after your ecu adjusts in a day or two...after you do the cams it will be even better. Now you see why the 99-04's all love the 4.10's because they make power higher up.

well, i didn't have a nice dyno boost from my pi intake. I put it on the dyno and it made 185 RWHP and 231 RWTQ. This was on a mustang dyno. I have an o/r prochamber and mac cat backs and a k&n. Sad thing was that a guy put a completely stock 98 Grand Marque on there and he dynoed at 178 RWHP and 221 RWTQ... So that was kinda sad. I just don't see someone makeing 15 rwhp from and intake... unless you added the cams or cams/heads.

15+ is certainly an alright suggestion; I picked up 19hp with just the intake and tune.

yeah, i did the PI intake in nov 06, PI cams in dec 06, and PI heads in sept. 07. if you can, do for the full PI swap. you will love the throttle response that heads give, and the top end pull is so much better than the NPI. i dont have dyno sheets yet, but once i get the magnaflow catback again i will be throwing her on the dyno. stock tune with all my mods, i dynoed at 218rwhp and 284rwtq.

my car on the dynojet with a o/r x-pipe and a cai made 200rwhp @ 4250.(@6k it only made 150hp)lol
260 torque @ 3500.

im doing the cams, subframes, and hopefully some different wheels with dr's.

then off to the track on 11-7 to see what happens.

i tell ya guys the pi intake helped a butload,my low end IS coming back great and the mid-big end is getting better too.3 drive cycles and 200 miles since swapand its runs perfect!
