pi swap temp sensors?

im almost done with my pi swap, i beileve on NPI motors both temp sensors go on intake manifold and pi has one on intake and one on Driverside head? what do i do with this? im lost...

you'll have to use your npi crossover on your new pi manifold hoping you got one with a aluminum crossover, otherwise you'll have to drill for your second sensor..

one sensor is for your gauge, and the other one is for the fan to kick on, learned that the hard way one time..

flip your npi intake upside down, their should be 5 bolts that hold the crossover on, and it should just bolt up to the pi.. i didnt' have to do this with my intake swap so i'm not too sure on this. maybe someone else can shine somelight

this works only if you have aluminum crossovers on both intakes. If not, and you only have an aluminum crossover on the PI intake you will need to...

1. Tap it for the second sensor, or...
2. Tap or weld a bung into the thermostat housing for the sensor, or...
3. get a "t" and put both sensors off the same stalk (although some say you dont get accurate readings this way)

Someone on this site moved the sensor to the water coolant drain plug on the drivers side of the block.

if you have aluminum xovers on both then you should be good on swapping them.. just do it the easy way. :thumb:
