Either Black Bullitts, or be extremely original, and get the ORIGINAL Torque Thrust in the same sizes... those would look the best in the universe actually.

I can't possibly express to you how deep my hatred runs for Bullitts. I would put Honda wheels on my car before bullitts and that IS NOT an exaggeration.

That being said... Saleen or GT40's.. I think you should consider Black Chrome too. It would add just enough bling, but not be over the top.

Well put the Torque Thrust wheels back on, they looked better than any other wheel you will currently have, or will have in the future (100 to 1,000,000,000 years in the future when the human race is extinct.). ( best looking in the universe) If you don't want the best looking in the universe, then that's your business. It's O.K. to look your best Sxynerd... hold true to your name.

Just don't put the plain jane SVT cobra 03-04 wheels on your car, I cannot express how bland those rims look... on any car. I would put Bullitt rims on my car before I put 03-04 cobra rims on my car... And that is not an exaggeration. Woops, already did.

I'll kill you if you get GT40s...

You've already had bullitts, and y2ks...granted they were 17s and chrome respectively, but thats no fun.

Saleens...yea yea

18" Mach wheels: Never seen them before.

So my choice: Machs

Maybe its just me, but I think you get bored with your wheels so much/fast because you keep buying low-budget wheels that everyone has. I think if you spend the money on a GREAT set of wheels, you wont be so inclined to change them so quickly.

If you can afford it, I would look into something like CCW or BBS or Fikse or something of the sort, that may cost you a pretty penny, but will really set your car off and give it a really unique look. Plus, if you spend a lot of money once on a really nice set, it will save you in the long run instead of shelling out hundreds of dollars every so often on a different set of cheaper rims.

Yeah,
I should have done that in the very beginning but I was being stupid. Now I think it's too late. I'm getting rid of the car next year sometime so I'm not spending a butt load of money on another set of wheels. I just want something that looks good and that's a bit different than I've done so far. I love BBS but they'll have to hold out till the next ride.

None of this makes any sense. If you're getting rid of the car next year, why would you spend more money on more wheels? If I knew I was selling my car, I wouldnt dump another penny into it. You might as well just flush your money down the toilet, cuz thats what you're pretty much doing. You're gonna pay over $1000 for new wheels and tires, the value of the car wont be any higher than it is now when you sell it, and you wont have the wheels.

As a matter of fact, you might as well just buy them for me, seeing as that you're satisfied with buying stuff that you're practically gonna be giving away in 12mo's time.

I dunno, am I missing something?

It makes perfect sense. I am going to be driving the car for an entire season or two and I want to have something to be proud of while I'm doing it. ...I don't get what doesn't make sense. $1k may seem like a lot but it's really not in the grand scheme. We don't build these pony cars for an investment, we do it to fulfill our passions. If I thought about cars the way you suggest, then I should just have it sit in the garage and wait for it to be worth more than I paid. I've got close to $30k into my car and I'll be lucky to get 12k and that's if everything is tiptop. If this still doesn't make sense, then just chalk it up to me being independently wealthy & inherently stupid.

makes sense to me.

I didn't mean it in a sense of coppin my style...I just think GT40s are SO ugly, bullitts/y2ks you've already had, and saleens are overdone. Try the Machs

That wasn't even close to my point.

The car isnt even your daily driver. How many times are you gonna drive it in the next year before you sell it? maybe 20-30 times? My point is, you have like 600 sets of nice wheels, including the ones already on your car. Why you would feel compelled to buy another set of wheels and tires, for "one season", is beyond me. Even if your income is more disposable than Pamela Anderson's vagina, buying wheels you know you're just going to get rid of in a year, just seems like a complete waste of money to me. If you had no intention, or didn't know when you were going to sell the car, that would be one thing, but to know you're getting rid of the car in the near future, and to still be dumping money into it, doesnt make any sense to me at all.
