Well I went to pick up my car from ASE transmissions in OP FL and guess what, scratches everywhere and oil on my vert top, and oil running down my hood!!!!! WTF There are at least 100 scratches on my car, some very deep. Why can't someone do a decent job?????? I picked the car up 2 hours after they closed and my new paint job is f'n ruined!!! I am scheduling appts with my insurance carrier and my attorney(hope he does civil suits). I know this sounds really bad, but I would love to hurt this guy(financially) and maybe a slap or two(Not that I would resort to violence). I am just amazed at how crappy the care for my car was!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If any of my fellow members are lawyers give me some goood questions for my attorney

I'm sorry that this happened to you bro. you are gonna need a copy of all of their work orders for your car. You will also, need to ask if they did a pre inspection sheet, and if they did you need a copy of that. If they didn't, then you got yourself a paintjob. If they did a inspection sheet and didn't notate the scratches and stuff that happened, then that's your proof that they did it. Good Luck

When you get to the point of getting repair quotes, also have a "Loss of Value" estimate done. If their insurance co. seemingly want to offer you peanuts for the repairs, threaten them with the loss of value estimate cost. It'll give you a little leverage against them. They will tend to settle with you and do it your way.

Worked with my wife's '93 LX. "Yes maam, OK Mrs. Trumbo, we'll go with that". She's just good!

If it does come down to a new paint job...keep in mind you DON'T have to get it painted where their insurance wants it done.

They have to pay the company that YOU want to paint it.

I learned that when some bizzo scratched the shit outta my front left fender.

He was sick today, so I left his a voice mail informing him of the issue and asking him to call me to let me what time tomorrow would be best to come by to discuss how to remedy the problems

Thats bull.

We're redneck here. I would have been waiting at that shop before they even opend and met the owner personally and made him explain it.

THEN I'd make him pay for it.

Well, to obtain pics, one must first understand how to post pics... I can understand perfectly if he doesn't know how... he probably does though.
