Ok i picked up a real good condition stock E7 casting non-roller 351w. These are rated 210hp and 315tq correct? If so what can I do to increase the engine's horsepower without increasing its torque?

You cant. If you increase HP TQ will go up as well and why don't you want the TQ to go up?

Even tho they are only rated 300 torque? I'm wanting to eventually make 350-400hp with this engine.

My old 95 gt had a 302 h/c/i , and a 150 dry shot of nitrous making 400hp and 460ftlb's to the tires through a stock 8.8, and stock world class t5 for over a year, and 400hp and 420ftlb's with the same 302 h/c/i combo with a kenne bell supercharger before that. As long as you don't beat on it you should be able to make it until you get ready to upgrade the transmission and rearend.

If your just going to drive it around and drop the hammer every single chance you get it will be fine. The T5 will hold with a crap ton of TQ and HP if its just driven normally. its impossible not to increase TQ at the same time as HP

put a honda engine in instead...

you cannot, any upgrade is going to increase your hp and tq. now there are insances where changing one performance part to another will raise hp and lower tq, or vice versa, but thats performance part to performance part.

Nothing, your screwed.

there are alot of 350-375rwtq cars running around with stock trans and rear as long as you dont do 2nd gear burn out's, shift it at 7000 rpm or strap on some slicks you'll be OK.

ya, im running a 347 with close to 440 flywheel hp, and my stock rear end and stock t5. just dont slam the gears and you'll be fine. id say do an hci swap on that engine and slam her in there!

what would be a good hci set up? how much benefit would it be to convert to a roller cam?

i think its like 15 hp from rollers. i converted my 351 to roller, custom ground cam, AFR 185s, getting a DIY turbo kit together for it now.

depending on the block, you could just have to drill and tap (id advise having the machinist doing this) and put a spyder and roller lifters in, then i believe (don't know, someone else chime in?) you might have to get a custom type of cam with a lower base circle? read that somewhere at some point...or get the retrofit lifters.
anyway, a great 351 hci would be AFR 185s or TFS twisted wedge's with a custom cam and a holley systemax or TFS R intake with supporting mods. lots of expense there though...

horsepower aint cheap ;) lol retrofit lifters will cost you like 400 bucks, if you want to retrofit i'd look for used ones. i bought mine for 100 bucks, never used. AFRs will run you in the neighborhood of 1400, I got mine for 800. custom cam (dont advise buying used) was 300. just keep your eyes open, deals pop up all the time.

What benefit would stud mount rockers be over pedestal mount? And are the trick flow vertical link bar lifters any good?
