spent a coupe more hours the other night and every time it gets a little closer and I get a little more excited. If you look closely at the throat you will see I ground down/smoothed out the side of the throat where the two halfs of the sandcast met. IT made an ugly seem that wasn't necessary and if you look on the ends you will still see it. Only spot left to still smooth out now is the small back sectino of the throat and the top, shouldn't be too bad. AFter that there are some small corners left to get, some minor pits still to sand through but its much much closer.

It has been alot of work so far, and there is still alot to go as well. Since I am never going to sell the car hopefully I will get to enjoy it for a long long time...

So anyone heard of anything fun to do with aluminum powder? seems like I got a bunch of it right now and can't help but think of trying out some recipes I have heard of and always wondered about - IE:thermite?

still rubbin rubbin rubbin rubbin rubbin.

rub it this way, rub it that way, rub it with 100 ,rub it with 220. the large areas became small areas, small areas became small spots and now I am starting too see the light at the end of the tunnel. Can't freakin wait.

Can't load pics up tonight for some reason. Check out the new pics at the bottom of the page.

pics don't really show the difference but spent a little more time with 220 on some spots and then did a large portion of it with 400. Each time it gets smoother and shinier. Its funny because after a couple of hours I am sick of it and ready to paint it as I walk away but when I return and see it, I am again energized to get it finished.
