Polishing and waxing noob. Help me

Ok i have a purple 96 mustang gt convertible. The paint is ok but it has seen better days. i wanna polish it and wax it when it gets warmer but i dont know what kind or brands to get. is there a special wax for purple cars? i've been looking at Megiuars M105 and M205 but i dont have a rotary or a porter cable. and can someone explain to me what "glaze" is and what it does?

Glazes are shine enhancers that are applied after polish before wax.
There are alot of how to videos on this topic so educate yourself.
Your detail is only as good as its weakest link so dont slack follow the steps and take your time.

i would try to pick up a pc or maybe borrow one if you can...the polish needs to break down and it's nearly impossible to do it by hand.
