*Poll* Flowmaster 40's or Flowmaster super 44's?

Car is a 1994 GT, 5.0 long tubes, will have new high flow x pipe (cats) and flowmaster cat back.

I dont want the cats, but no mechanic will touch my car without them because of crazy fines we have here, and my exhaust is getting old and banged up. so also another quick question...

How easy is it to gut a catalytic convertor? would I have to take them off and thn weld them back on? or can I just poke it to death with a pointy stick sort of thing through the pipe?

I wouldn't choose either.

Gutting a cat isn't hard but do you have emissions or vehicle inspections? Then your car will be illegal so just know what your getting into. I know here they will physically check the cats basically a thud test to make sure there is still material in there.

o/r mid pipes are fairly cheap you might as well replace it.

what do you do with the car? Weekend warrior? 44's, they're awesome.
daily driver, 40 delta's. They're quieter in car and outside aswell.

It's a daily driver in the summer, But I love the loud, thats part of the reason im upset that I have to get cats, I am leaning toward 44's.
