Since i am newb at this how do people control the opacity of the tail light? Only thru wet sanding? or you lay down a few coats, clear it then sand it? I really want to know the process.

If i were you i would do 2 light coats. I didn't clear mine at all i just polished them up. I plan on doing it again here in a few weeks.

I control mine with wet sanding

I was going to post up mine but I see it's already there, lol. That's 60/40 clear and I think 2 coats. The only way to do it right is by real paint.

I wouldnt say that...yes, real paint and clear will look great but if you know what your doing you can get similar results with VHT, sandpaper and buffing.

The cost differance between vht and body shop style definately doesnt justify taking them to a body shop either

I'm not a painter and I don't try, lol. 50$ is what my painter charged me.
