you seriously mounted a nikon d40 on your trunk with a suction cup? ???

yeah, haven't had more time to play with it otherwise. the mount is an undustrial one capable of holding up to 70 lbs. i was just driving to my friend's house. that was taken on a sidestreet at 30 mph. i've also been playing with in car video.

Do you screw the suction cup into the threaded mount on the camera or what?

i have a few but i will edit them a bit to make them better.. they are the type of shot with me hanging out of my own driver window and capturing the front wheel.. kinda lame but i can't find anyone to shoot some GOOD pictures for me..

after looking at this thread, i thought maybe me and paul could get together and I could get some rolling shots soon.

That one I was just sitting in the passenger seat. You can see my plaid shorts towards the bottom corner.
But yea, it's a mount connected to the cup.

it looks like the color has been saturated in the picture, but the action shot looks legit.

No, to the best of my knowledge the picture hadn't been photoshopped at all!
