Hey guys, I bought this car without the power door locks working, windows work fine but when you press the lock bottuns on either driver or passenger doors nothing happens. At first I thought it was an actuator issue but since it is both doors I doubt that is the issue. I wanted to check the fuse but according to the manual the power door locks don't have a fuse?? I did a bunch of google searching and heard a bunch of people say to check the circuit breaker, but could not find any info on were the circuit breaker is or what it looks like. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

the fuse box is under the dash. Don't even bother trying to identify which fuse it could be in the manual just go in there and pull and look at each one until you have either checked them all, or found one that is blown. IF they are all good there then check the box under the hood above the battery as there are more fuses there.

Dont have a keyless entry remote with the car so I dunno. Im gonna check the fuses under the hood, already checked all of the ones under the dash and see if any are blown. Gonna have keyless entry and an alarm put in sometime next week, hopefully if its not a fuse they will be able to fix it while installing the keyless entry.

Do you have a test light, if you do make sure you are getting power to the actuator.

It would be easier to see if there is power to the switch first. The wiring system for the locks is called a 5-wire system where the switches do all the work and there are no relays. The problem is that if you have a bad connection in a couple of key places that you can loose all functions in the locks. The alarm installer can hopefully figure it out or else he will not be able to get the alarm to work it, they may charge extra for this diagnostic as well since it will take them more time. Tell them about it before you show up for sure.....

Does the dome light come on with the doors?
