Power wire

Well i need to find a new place to get power from for my autometer guages. i had it wired from the cig lighter, but after 3 days of sitting the battery wont start the car.

could i tap into my remote wire on my sterio? cuz the wire is already wired down that way.

You mean the blue wire off the back? You can but your gauges will only work when you have your radio on.

If you tap anywhere into your radio circuit it can cause noise or static in your radio reception.

Your best bet is to look at a diagram of your fusebox and select a switched power source that is not in use or for an option that you do not have that meets the amperage requirement of your gauges.

my am/fm doesnt really work anyway i only listen to cd's or i could use the power antenna wire. Im back to driving it everday again so its no big deal now.

hook it up to a swtiched source, cig ligther is on all the time which is what killed your battery.
