yes, a low mileage stock motor will perform better than a high mileage stock motor.

yes the radiator is of a diff design and a better flow than the 96-97 models dont know why but it is and my best 60' is 2.02 and my best time is 15.21 at like 90+ mph with only like 60,000 miles on the clock

also ive read theres something diffrent with the radiator?
Probably a rumor that everyone believes. Call Ford and ask for parts numbers. 96 97 98 have the exact same parts number aka means same radiator.

PS I've got 227,000 miles on my motor and I can hang with my buddies 2002 TA as long as he's not to the floor. But he claims he's given it 80 to 90 % throttle. This is of low speeds of course because past 100 is LS1 grounds for victory unless we are packing more hp.

So I went to the track about 2 weeks ago and ran a 14.39 @97mph in my 98 gt......only mods=3.73 gears. Is that a pretty normal time? Plus I have B.F Goodrich G-Force kdws which also hook up pretty good. Any input would be great. Thanks

jsut curious, what was your 60ft time? that usually tells a lot
